…I have heard the soft coo of a mourning dove and the raucous call of a red-wing blackbird…

…I have felt the warm sun on the back of my neck and the cool breeze caressing my skin…

…I have seen fair-weather clouds skittering across the brilliant blue sky…

…I have inhaled the scent of lilac, mint and cilantro…the latter two, wild-seeded and crushed under foot, edging ever closer to the clothesline…

…I have watched the comical antics of chickens and roosters, robins and wrens, all in a post-rain feeding frenzy as the earthworms emerge…

These beautifully intoxicating sights, sounds and smells…all because I have a clothesline and enough sun and wind to make a difference.  Praising God for the morning wash…

Blessings,
