Preparation for our Thanksgiving feast has begun in earnest.  Having so much to do to prepare our home, I hadn’t really put much thought into a centerpiece for our table.

Google to the rescue!

We’re crafting a few of these:  toilet paper pumpkins.  “What on earth?!” you say?  I was intrigued, too, then amazed at the simplicity of this little craft.  Made, quite simply, with items all of you have readily available.  I utilized an outgrown shirt from one of my boys, a couple hastily cut felt “leaves” and wrapped a stick in a really nice variegated yarn.  The results:

With a few flowers and leaves, here and there, three or four of these pumpkin cuties should serve as a really homey centerpiece for the family table!
